Yes, as with any product there are poor quality and excellent quality. In our showrooms we show you the difference and especially what is inside a cheap poor-quality panel and our “MADE IN THE UK” products.

Infrared heat indeed has some fantastic benefits! Its similarity to the sun’s heat makes it feel natural and gentle, and its safety is evident in its use in baby incubators. Its efficiency and cleanliness also make it an attractive option, especially when compared to traditional convection heat sources that might produce emissions and odors. The fact that it provides clean air without any emissions or odors is definitely a plus, especially for those concerned about indoor air quality.

Heating any property by electric involves using a technology that efficiently converts electricity into heat. Infrared heating is a technology that achieves efficiency by directly transferring heat energy, rather than heating the surrounding air. When determining the most suitable heating system for specific needs, it is crucial to consider the overall cost of ownership, including efficiency, initial investment, installation and maintenance requirements. In this regard, Infrared Heating offers a highly compelling and competitive option. Infrared Heating Specialists ‘Made in the UK’ products stand out as a practical and efficient solution.

Infrared Heating panels are virtually maintenance-free with no associated costs. Since they do not have any moving parts, liquids, or gases, there is no need for annual maintenance contracts. Another significant benefit of Infrared Heating panels is that if, in the rare event one panel malfunctions, you only need to replace that specific panel without losing heat from the entire system. This is unlike central heating boilers, heat pumps, underfloor heating, or biomass systems, where a failure could close down the entire system.

One of the main benefits of Infrared Heating is that it does not rely on air as the source for heat transfer. This reduces air movement and minimises the amount of dust and pollen in the air. Having significant reduction in airborne dust particles and allergens leads to improved air quality. Additionally, Infrared Heating plays a significant role in drying out damp walls by directly heating the walls instead of the air, effectively combating mould and mildew growth and further enhancing air quality. Another advantage is that Infrared Heaters evenly heat the objects and materials within the room, resulting in minimal temperature variation between the floor and ceiling. In contrast, conventional convection heating systems often create a large temperature disparity, with warm air accumulating near the ceiling and the floor remaining cold. Enjoy a consistently comfortable temperature throughout the entire room with Infrared Heaters.

Infrared Heaters are simple to install. They do not require complex pipework, outside heat pumps or removing your floor for underfloor heating. You can simply plug into a wall socket like regular appliances or wire direct into the back of the heaters. Much less time and no mess compared to other heating systems.

No, this is the beauty of Infrared Heating panels and heaters; you can try it in one room initially and feel the benefits for yourself.  Due to their versatility, Infrared Heaters can be gradually introduced into your home or work space.

Absolutely, Infrared Heating Specialists’ products are a fantastic and practical alternative to heat pumps or gas boilers.  We offer an excellent option for customers who aim to reduce their carbon footprint and lower carbon emissions. Moreover, it serves as a viable replacement for those seeking to upgrade their aging gas boiler and radiator system. Infrared Heating represents an electric solution that can effortlessly operate using a 100% green energy tariff or tap into surplus solar power and battery storage systems. Compared to heat pumps or gas systems, Infrared Heaters offer many advantages, including the absence of a central point of failure, no leaks or heat losses through pipes, and a more elegant and space-saving design.

For optimal effectiveness, it is recommended to install the panels higher up on the walls or on the ceiling. It is less effective to mount your panels directly across from a window or door, as there won’t be sufficient thermal mass to absorb the energy. The panels provide a noticeable warmth within approximately 2.5-3 meters, so for the best experience, try to install them within 3 meters of your usual location in the room. Avoid placing obstacles such as sofas, tables or long curtains in front of the panels, as this would hinder the radiated heat from reaching the room. Covered surfaces of the panels prevent the heat from being effectively radiated into the room.

Like any traditional heater, Infrared heaters will get hot during operation. The surface temperature is like that of a central heating gas radiator, a heat pump system or storage heaters but offers the advantage of not needing to be installed at floor level. Infrared Heating panels can be mounted on walls and ceilings.

Whilst Infrared Heating mimics the sun’s heat, it is the sun’s UV element that enables tanning, not Infrared. Infrared heat does not tan the skin but instead stimulates circulation, eases muscle pain and is widely used for heating yoga studios and saunas and is used in beauty treatments and other health facilities.

Infrared Heating panels consist of few components, with insulation being one of the most important. This insulation ensures that walls and ceilings are protected from the heat. The panels are designed to emit Infrared energy outward at 45 degrees, heating the room without causing damage to the walls or ceilings.

Infrared Heaters require no maintenance and have a long lifespan due to their minimal components and absence of moving parts.  Infrared Heating Specialists heating panels have a 10-year guarantee on all Premier and Elite products.

Like radio stations using different frequencies to avoid interference, Infrared heating works on different frequencies to ensure there is no interference between devices.
